Town of Thompson's Station

I’ve worked in the financial industry for over a decade. After starting out with larger corporate banks, I went independent after our move to Tennessee. Today my wife and I run a small financial practice that focuses on fiscal education and retirement strategies for families just like yours and mine. I get to focus on the goals and needs of real people, listen to their concerns, and then work together to achieves those goals and protect their families and investments.

As your Alderman, I will use my professional background to promote fiscal responsibility and high ethical standards in our town’s spending agenda. We are already limited in sales tax revenue and commercial development that would serve our residents is seemingly stagnant. Every penny and every dollar matters to our town and there is little room for vanity projects. There is also little room for good old boy networks that seek to benefit and elevate the connected few over the ignored many.

Another focus for my term highlights safety and infrastructure improvements throughout Thompson’s Station. As our population continues to grow with the addition of several new subdivisions, updated roadways, sidewalks, and safety measures for motorists and pedestrians are paramount. Like most of you, I believe that connectivity and having a walk-able town will drastically increase the quality of life we already enjoy and continue to strengthen the notion that in our town, we’re all neighbors. Our family uses the parks and trail systems constantly and I want to see a greenway that will connect our neighborhoods to our parks, our schools, our downtown area, and even to the highly anticipated Greystone Quarry Amphitheater.
